Ingeteam has designed and manufactured the first units of its new control system for hybridising renewable energy plants with different generation technologies. This new system, which is currently under certification process in accordance with the Spanish NTS standard, will soon be installed in the province of Cuenca to hybridise two wind farms with two photovoltaic plants, which will in turn be equipped with Ingeteam photovoltaic inverters. DAS Solar, the China based solar cell and module technology company, has launched a new n-type PRO solar panel with the highest conversion efficiency of 22.72% and power output of 635W targeting utility scale power plants segment. The company says it has used its proprietary n-type TOPCon 3.0 cell technology for the new module along with a high-density encapsulation. It has a bifaciality that reaches 80%. The panel is compatible with all mainstream bracket designs, it added.
