Suzlon Wins 100.8 MW Order from Everrenew Energy Pvt. Ltd.

Suzlon Group, India's largest renewable energy solutions provider, today announced a new order win for the development of a 100.8 MW wind power project for Everrenew Energy Private Limited. Suzlon will install 48 wind turbine generators (WTGs) of their S120 - 2.1 MW with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular tower at Velliyanani Phase II in Karur district and Vengaimandalam in Trichy in Tamil Nadu and the project is expected to be commissioned in March 2024.Suzlon will supply the wind turbines (equipment supply) and supervise the execution and commissioning of the project. MAHAPREIT’s Ambitious Plan: 1 GW Solar Push for Rural Irrigation and SME Rooftops

The Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Ltd (MAHAPREIT), a subsidiary of the state government’s Mahatma Phule Backward Class Development Corporation (MPBCDC), has planned to install 500 megawatt (MW) of decentralised solar projects in the rural parts of the state to power agricultural irrigation over the next two years and another 500 MW rooftop solar units to supply power to micro, small and medium enterprises. The combined capacity will give a significant boost to the government’s goal to reach 22 gigawatt (GW) of renewable energy. Currently, the state generates around 15GW of renewable energy annually. Infosys Attainds Carbon Neutrality for the Fourth Consecutive Year

According to the ESG report for FY 2023 released by Infosys, the company has attained carbon neutrality for the fourth consecutive year. The ESG reprot mentions its adoption of renewable energy sources has contributed to 57.9 per cent of electricity for its India operations. According to the report, Infosys has installed 14.4 MW of solar PV panels on the rooftops of its office buildings. The report further mentions that the company operates a 40 MW captive solar power plant in Sira, Karnataka, totalling its installed solar capacity to 60 MW. Suzlon secures a Major order of 300 MW from Torrent Power Limited

Suzlon Group, India's largest renewable energy solutions provider, announced that it has bagged a significantly large order for its new 3 MW series of wind turbines to develop a 300 MW wind power project for Torrent Power Limited. Suzlon will install 100 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 3 MW each. The project is located in Karnataka and is expected to be commissioned in 2025. This is the sixth and the largest order for the new Suzlon 3 MW series in less than a month and as part of the agreement, Suzlon will supply the wind turbines (equipment supply), provide land and execute the project including erection and commissioning.
