Havells Launches Dual Mode Micro Inverter with Four US Patents

Havells India Limited unveiled its revolutionary product – the Dual Mode Micro Inverter (DMMI), backed by four US patents. This innovation is set to transform the solar power industry by addressing key limitations associated with traditional inverters and microinverters. DMMI is equipped with an MPPT-based Solar Charge Controller, which efficiently converts DC current from solar panels into AC current. It is available in two models, DMMI-800 and DMMI-1600, these inverters can seamlessly transition between ON-Grid and Off-Grid modes, catering to various grid scenarios. Both DMMI models are compatible with all types of solar module technologies. Traditional solar inverters and microinverters are highly dependent on a reference grid voltage. In the event of a power cut, they become non-opera...

Built Robotics Launches Piling Robot to Accelerate Solar Energy Transition

Built Robotics, inventor of the Exosystem™ and leader in construction autonomy, is announcing the RPD 35: the world's first fully autonomous solar piling system. With the RPD 35, utility-scale solar foundations can be constructed up to five times faster than with traditional means and methods, bringing the nation closer to net zero energy. Piling is a complex construction activity at the heart of every utility-scale solar project. Solar piles are generally steel H-beams 12 to 16 feet in length and up to 200 pounds in weight. A typical solar farm requires tens of thousands of piles to be installed, each of which must be driven into the ground upwards of eight feet and positioned at an accuracy of less than an inch. Together these piles form the structural foundation of the solar array. ...
