KP Energy Successfully Commissions 50.4 MW Wind Project for NTPC Renewable Energy
KP Energy Limited has announced the successful commissioning of the first phase of its 50.4 MW wind power project at Vanki, Nakhatrana in Kutch district, Gujarat. The project has been developed for NTPC Renewable Energy Limited and marks another milestone in India’s expanding renewable energy infrastructure.

The commissioned capacity comprises 16 Suzlon wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW, aggregating to 50.4 MW. The wind turbines achieved Commercial Operation Date (COD) effective from 00:00 hours on July 8, 2026.
The project forms part of a larger wind energy development being executed by KP Energy and highlights the company’s capabilities in delivering end-to-end wind energy Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) solutions.
The successful commissioning further strengthens KP Energy’s position as one of India’s leading wind energy infrastructure companies, supporting utilities and renewable energy developers in expanding clean power generation capacity.
