Mecpower Solutions Signs MoU with Gujarat Government to Set Up 5 GWh Battery Energy Storage Assembly Facility

Mecpower Solutions Limited, a Gujarat-headquartered leader in solar infrastructure and clean energy solutions, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat to set up a proposed 5 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Assembly Facility at Karjan, with an envisaged investment of approximately ₹160 crore. The proposed facility is expected to reinforce domestic energy storage capabilities and contribute to India’s evolving renewable energy landscape.
