Technip Energies, the world’s leading engineering and technology company for the energy transition, wins the ‘Best CSR Project of the Year’ Award for its CSR program ‘SEED OF HOPE’at the 5th IFCCI CSR Conclave & Awards 2023, organized by The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry on 24th November 2023 in New Delhi.
‘Seed of Hope’ is the flagship CSR program of Technip Energies India. Since its launch in 2015, Seed of Hope has impacted over 90,000 lives by focusing on key areas like education, healthcare, skill development, gender diversity and environmental sustainability.The program is designed to foster inclusive growth within the communities where the company operates, aligning with its ESG Roadmap.
Technip Energies has initiated multiple projects under the ‘Seed of Hope’ initiative to tackle significant socioeconomic and environmental issues. ‘Seed of Hope’ has helped in skill development by providing vocational training to over 9,500 youths, training 500 women on livelihood opportunities, providing STEM education to over 19,000 girls, and helping more than 9000 children attend school.Through ‘Project ACE’, the company has delivered over 150 smokeless stoves,installed 80 solar streetlights and 100 biogas units.At the community level, the company has engaged with the local people to raise awareness on environment and has received active participation of the local youths in collecting 1,30,000 kgs of waste, recycling 12,800+ kg of plastic and planting over 40,000 saplings around its area of operation – impacting 7000 villagers.
The Award was received by Mr. RK Gupta, Vice President, Mr. Pinaki Sanyal, Communication Head and Mr. Gautam Dey, Lead CSR & Sustainability from Technip Energies India. Mr. Damien SYED, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of France in India graced the occasion.

‘Seed of Hope’ program has received many coveted awards and recognition, including CSR Award conferred by the President of India, ‘Best Innovative Practices on SDGs’ in the Private Sector category conferred by UN Global Compact Network India (GCNI) and Special Jury Recognition Award for ‘Empowering Rural Population’ in Large Enterprise Category conferred by Indian Chamber of Commerce.
The IFCCI CSR Conclave and Awards aims to recognize and showcase CSR projects of top French companies in India with a focus on Education, Environment & Sustainability, Healthcare, Vocational Skills & Livelihoods and Employee Engagement.This year, IFCCI is celebrating the 10th Year of ‘the CSR Act’ and the theme of the Conclave is ‘Promoting Innovation and Creating Impact’.
