GREW Solar Achieves Top Performer Status in Kiwa PVEL 2026 PV Module Reliability Scorecard
GREW Solar, one of India’s leading solar module manufacturers, has been recognized as a Top Performer in the Kiwa PVEL 2026 PV Module Reliability Scorecard, marking an important milestone in the company’s journey of delivering reliable, high-performance solar technologies for global markets. The recognition highlights GREW Solar’s strong performance across independent, third-party validation of module durability and reliability under accelerated stress conditions.
GREW Solar earned Top Performer recognition across six key Product Qualification Program (PQP) categories:
- Thermal Cycling (TC)
- Damp Heat (DH)
- Mechanical Stress Sequence (MSS)
- Hail Stress Sequence (HSS)
- Potential-Induced Degradation (PID)
- Light-Induced Degradation (LID)
Kiwa PVEL’s Product Qualification Program is regarded globally as one of the most rigorous independent testing frameworks for solar modules, evaluating performance at the Bill of Materials (BOM) level rather than assessing module labels alone. Modules undergo extended reliability testing designed to simulate decades of field exposure across temperature fluctuations, humidity, mechanical loading, hail impact and electrical stress conditions.

The recognition is especially notable in the current market context, where Kiwa PVEL’s latest industry findings indicate increasing failure rates across module testing and growing emphasis on independently validated reliability and procurement standards.
Commenting on the recognition, Tristan Erion-Lorico, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Kiwa PVEL, said, “GREW Solar’s recognition as a Top Performer in the 2026 Scorecard demonstrates verifiable performance at the bill-of-materials level. It’s always exciting to see a first-time Top Performer who treats reliability as a core value and GREW Solar has done precisely that.”
The six categories in which GREW Solar was recognised represent some of the industry’s most demanding assessments. Thermal Cycling and Damp Heat evaluate resilience against temperature variation and prolonged exposure to heat and humidity; Mechanical Stress Sequence and Hail Stress
Sequence assesses structural durability under external impact and loading conditions; while PID and LID validate sustained electrical and energy performance over time.
As solar markets continue to scale globally, long-term performance and quality assurance remain critical considerations for developers, EPC players and asset owners. GREW Solar’s recognition in the Kiwa PVEL 2026 Scorecard further strengthens its positioning as a trusted manufacturing partner delivering dependable solar solutions aligned with evolving market expectations. As the company continues to expand its integrated manufacturing capabilities and progresses towards adding 8 GW of ingot and wafer manufacturing capacity, the recognition further reinforces its commitment to building a resilient and future-ready solar value chain.
