JinkoSolar Introduces All-in-one Battery Solution for C&I Solar

JinkoSolar has developed a new all-in-one energy storage system, including 215 kWh lithium-ion batteries with liquid cooling. The product, which comes as an outdoor cabinet, integrates battery packs, a battery management system (BMS), a power conversion system (PCS), and fire-fighting equipment. It also has a maximum input voltage of 1,000 V. The SunGiga JKS-215KLAA-100PLAA system’s battery has rated AC power of up to 100 KW. It holds a non-uniform flow channel design to control cell temperature differences of up to 2 C. Serentica Partners with Greenko Group to Procure 1500 MW of Green Energy Daily

Serentica Renewables (Serentica) said it has signed an agreement with Greenko Group for taking daily supply of 1,500 megawatt (MW) from energy storage facilities. The power will be sourced from Greenko Group's upcoming energy storage projects in Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh and supplied to industrial customers, Serentica said in a statement. "Serentica has signed a first-of-its-kind standalone energy storage capacity offtake contract with global energy storage developer, Greenko Group. As part of this contract, Serentica will leverage Greenko's unique energy storage capabilities to utilise a cumulative 1,500 MWhr capacity," it said. The agreement is for a period of 25 years. Renewable power producer BrightNight plans to develop 2 giga watt (GW) of renewable energy capacity in India in the next 4-5 years that will require a total investment of $1 billion. The company will deploy $250 million equity capital. “BrightNight is developing hybrid wind-solar projects with a calibrated use of energy storage that operates round the clock. Jakson unveils Lithium Battery Inverter for residential applications

Jakson Group has launched a battery energy storage system for residential applications that features a 3 kW hybrid inverter and a 4.8 kWh, 48V lithium-ion battery module managed by a battery management system.  The battery module uses lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) as the cathode material.  The whole 4.8 kWh BESS weighs around 80 kg and has dimensions of 350x800x1,100 mm, with the battery module weighing around 40 kg. The energy storage system can be customized up to MW scale depending on the user’s power backup requirement, stated Jakson. The system can charge from both solar and grid supply.
