Simple Energy Ultra Electric Scooter Launched – 400 km Range, Key Details Inside

Simple Energy, the Bengaluru-based automotive startup, builds on its growth momentum with the price reveal of the Simple Ultra and the start of deliveries. Unveiled earlier this year as part of its Gen 2 portfolio, Simple Ultra is India’s longest range electric scooter offering 400km IDC range. The model had already opened for bookings earlier this year and began deliveries last month.

Speaking on the price reveal, Mr. Suhas Rajkumar, Founder and CEO, said, “At Simple Energy, we engineer with intent. Simple Energy’s latest introduction is engineered for long-distance rides. Powered by a 6.5 kWh battery, the Ultra offers an IDC range of 400 km and can also hit a top speed of 115 kmph. The Simple Ultra, with its high range and top-speed provides exhilarating acceleration by hitting 0-40 kmph in 2.77 seconds. It is India’s second fastest electric scooter, second only to Simple One (5 kWh variant). This electric two-wheeler is also equipped with four-level traction control and a seven-inch display console for the rider. Priced at INR 2,34,999 (ex-showroom), Simple Ultra is available for test rides and purchase at Simple Stores or www.simpleenergy.in.

Network expansion
Simple Energy currently has a network numbering close to 70 touchpoints across cities including Bengaluru, Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Agra, Goa, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj (Aurangabad) and Chennai, among others. The brand will also be expanding to Nagpur, Ranchi, Bhubaneshwar, and more centres in the coming months.

Product portfolio
The all-new Simple Ultra is Simple Energy’s fourth product action in 2026. In January this year, the brand launched the second generations of the Simple One and the Simple OneS. The Simple One Gen 2 has two variants which offer an IDC range of 236 km and 265km and retails from INR 1,94,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
