RETC, a leading independent test laboratory for photovoltaic and renewable energy products, recently issued its Extended Reliability Test Report, and it showed that Trina Solar’s Vertex N module passed its thresher test, demonstrating excellent performance. RETC, based in Fremont, California, tests industry-leading module technology and provides the industry with data that helps stakeholders and developers choose high-quality modules. Solar manufacturer Gautam Solar has launched N-type TOPCon (Tunnel oxide passivated contact) and Mono PERC Solar modules at Intersolar Europe, a leading exhibition for the solar Industry. Gautam Solar has launched the TOPCon solar modules in two ranges, 420 Wp-435 Wp for distributors, EPC, developers in residential, commercial & industrial (C&I) segments as well as 565 Wp-580 Wp for utility scale and large C&I customers. The N-Type TOPCon technology was first developed by German institute Fraunhofer ISE. Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India has signed a Power Sale Agreement (PSA) with GRIDCO Odisha, Government of Odisha under which GRIDCO Odisha will purchase 600 MW of wind power from SECI under Tranche – XIII of ISTS (Inter State Transmission System) Connected Wind Power Projects Scheme. Under the ISTS scheme of the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, power generated from a state rich in renewable energy resources could be transmitted to states deficient in renewable energy resources. Suzlon secures a Major order of 300 MW from Torrent Power Limited

Suzlon Group, India's largest renewable energy solutions provider, announced that it has bagged a significantly large order for its new 3 MW series of wind turbines to develop a 300 MW wind power project for Torrent Power Limited. Suzlon will install 100 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 3 MW each. The project is located in Karnataka and is expected to be commissioned in 2025. This is the sixth and the largest order for the new Suzlon 3 MW series in less than a month and as part of the agreement, Suzlon will supply the wind turbines (equipment supply), provide land and execute the project including erection and commissioning.
