Vayona Energy and Oyster Renewable Partner to Deliver 64.8 MW Wind Power Project in Andhra Pradesh

Vayona Energy announces its first India market deal with Oyster Renewable Energy Private Limited, an Independent Power Producer (IPP). Under this agreement, Vayona Energy will supply 18 SG 3.6-145 wind turbines, totaling 64.8 MW, for a wind power project in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, along with a long-term operations and maintenance contract. Building on it’s recent entry into the Indian market, after the acquisition from Siemens Gamesa, Vayona enters the market with a clear strategy to scale onshore wind solutions across India and Sri Lanka.

Since the launch of the 3X platform in India, order intake has surpassed 3.6 GW, with installations exceeding 2 GW as of December 2025. This reflects strong market confidence in the company’s technology, execution capabilities, and the proven reliability of its turbines under Indian operating conditions The major components for these wind turbines will be manufactured and assembled at Vayona Energy’s facilities in Mamandur, near Chennai, with supply scheduled to commence in the first quarter of CY 2026.
