Servotech Renewable enters E-3W segment with lithium-ion battery and charger

Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd. announced its entry into the electric three-wheeler segment with the launch of a lithium-ion battery and a dedicated charger. The announcement was made at the company’s annual event, SUNKALP.

As part of the expansion, the company introduced SULTAN, a lithium-ion battery developed for electric three-wheelers, and Zest, a charger designed for use with three-wheeler batteries. These products are targeted at three-wheeler OEMs, dealers, and distributors. Servotech also launched Voltie, a 2 kW on-grid solar inverter intended for residential and small commercial applications.

The SULTAN lithium-ion battery is available in two configurations—51.2V/105Ah and 64V/105Ah—and is intended for use in e-rickshaws, e-autos, and e-cargo vehicles. The battery uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry. The Zest charger is designed to support battery charging time and protection. Alongside its micro-mobility products, the company also launched the Voltie on-grid solar inverter for grid-connected residential and small commercial applications, indicating its continued presence in the solar energy segment.

India’s electric three-wheeler segment has expanded in recent years due to urban transport needs, last-mile delivery demand, and policy support. Servotech’s entry represents an expansion of its operations into micro-mobility, based on its existing activities in energy systems and power electronics.

Commenting on the development, Raman Bhatia, Managing Director, Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd., said “Our entry into the electric three-wheeler segment is a natural progression of Servotech’s journey in clean energy. We have built strong leadership in solar and EV charging, and we are now excited to extend that expertise into lithium solutions for micro-mobility. While we’ve started off with two models of 3W Li-ion Batteries and one model of E-3W charger, we’re planning to deepen our roots in the market with more variants and models arriving in the future. The electric three-wheeler market holds immense potential, not just for sustainable transport but for empowering small transport entrepreneurs across India. As we look ahead, our focus remains on innovation, scale, and building reliable energy solutions that support India’s transition to a greener future.”
