The 18th edition of the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo and the 3rd edition of The Battery Show India (TBSI) concluded on a high note at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, setting new benchmarks for collaboration, innovation, and investment in the clean energy sector. Organized by Informa Markets in India, the three-day event (October 30 – November 1, 2025) witnessed record participation of over 55,000 professionals, 1,000 exhibitors, and 1,400 brands, reaffirming India’s leadership in driving the global renewable energy transition.
The 2025 edition served as a dynamic platform for industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to chart pathways for achieving India’s ambitious 500 GW renewable energy target by 2030. Under the central theme “Decoding Pathways to Achieve Net Zero,” the event showcased the latest technologies across solar, wind, bioenergy, storage, e-mobility, and green hydrogen—reflecting the sector’s evolving integration and resilience.
Inauguration Ceremony Highlights Collaboration and Global Partnerships
The event was inaugurated in the esteemed presence of global and national leaders including Dr. Vibha Dhawan, Director General, TERI; Dr. Philipp Ackermann, Ambassador of Germany to India; Dr. Ewa Suwara, Deputy Head of Delegation, European Union to India; H.R.H. Prince Narithipong Norodom of Cambodia; Shri Manu Srivastava, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Madhya Pradesh; Mr. Debashish Das, Head RE Nodal Agency, Government of Odisha; Mr. Peter Hall, President – IMEA Region, Informa Markets; Mr. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India; and Mr. Rajneesh Khattar, Senior Group Director, Informa Markets in India.
The inaugural session emphasized the importance of cross-border collaboration, innovation-driven policies, and sustainable investments to accelerate India’s clean energy ambitions. Leaders from India and abroad reaffirmed their commitment to advancing energy security, green manufacturing, and global cooperation for a net-zero future.
Key Highlights from the Show Included:
- Solis unveiled its 125 kW Hybrid Inverter with advanced 4-in-1 smart functionality for commercial and industrial applications.
- Replus launched a 5 GW Energy Storage System, reinforcing India’s emergence as a global battery manufacturing hub.
- LONGi and INOX Solar signed a strategic module supply agreement, marking a new phase of collaboration in domestic solar manufacturing.
- GREW Solar showcased its G12R high-powered 635 Wp modules, part of its high-efficiency series, and announced expansion plans to achieve 11 GW module capacity in Dudu, Jaipur, and 8 GW cell capacity in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh by 2026.
- Gautam Solar, one of India’s leading module manufacturers, launched its latest 635 and 640 Wp G12R TOPCon Solar Modules, delivering up to 23.69% efficiency and industry-leading performance.
- Pahal Solar confirmed a major 112 MW order for its 600 Wp NDCR solar modules from a reputed South India–based client during Day 1 of the Expo.
- RenewSys India, the country’s first integrated manufacturer of PV modules and key components, launched its latest innovation—the 132X G12R Solar Module, showcasing its leadership in integrated solar manufacturing.
- Insightful sessions from dignitaries including Dr. Vibha Dhawan (TERI), Dr. Philipp Ackermann (Germany), and senior representatives from the Government of India, European Union, and state governments, highlighted India’s clean energy achievements and future roadmap

The 2025 edition saw participation from leading players including Reliance New Energy, Adani Solar, Vikram Solar, Goldi Solar, Waaree Energies, FIMER, Gautam Solar, Solis Technologies, Luminous Power, GREW Energy, and Dhash PV Technologies, among others. Country pavilions from Germany, Belgium, China, Japan, and Korea further reinforced the event’s international significance.
As India crosses the historic milestone of 50% non-fossil fuel power capacity, REI Expo and TBSI 2025 have once again demonstrated the country’s readiness to lead the global clean energy transformation—combining technology, talent, and tenacity to drive sustainable growth.
