PIXON announces new leadership and 800 MW expansion for manufacturing latest TOPCon and HJT technology solar modules

PIXON one of India’s leading solar module and encapsulant film manufacturers is led by Mr. Deven Marwadi (Founder and Managing Director). His visionary leadership signifies a focused drive towards innovation, sustainable growth, and a globally competitive vision. Under his guidance, PIXON will strengthen its operational excellence, digital integration, and international outreach.

Recently, PIXON has announced a significant expansion of its production capacity by 800 MW with the latest offerings of TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) and HJT (Heterojunction) technologies solar modules. PIXON operates with fully automated, AI-optimised production lines with a capacity to expand up to 3 GW for solar modules and 3 GW for encapsulant film manufacturing within the same premises. This advancement marks a strategic shift towards strengthening PIXON’s capacity and capability to deliver latest generation photovoltaic solutions.

With this expansion, PIXON’s total manufacturing capacity is now moving closer to 2 GW, aligning with its long-term roadmap of becoming a key global player in the solar value chain. The integration of new modules enhances PIXON’s existing portfolio of PERC and N-Type (TOPCon, HJT) technologies, reaffirming the company’s commitment to deliver advanced, durable, reliable, and high-efficiency energy solutions.

“Our expansion with N-Type technology highlights PIXON’s commitment to staying at the forefront of solar innovation, further strengthened by NABL-accredited lab support for TOPCon and HJT technologies. Along with strong partnerships with solar cell manufacturers and OEM partners, we are ensuring long-term growth and stability. As we evolve, we remain committed to delivering reliable, high-performance solar solutions that support global decarbonisation goals,” said Mr. Nikhil More – General Manager (Management).

PIXON reaffirms its position as a vertically integrated, forward-thinking solar manufacturer ready to meet the demands of the global clean energy transition. Its backwards integration plans further ensure compliance with ESG and sustainability requirements for a greener future.
