Gautam Solar Unveils 630 Wp R Series TOPCon Solar Modules with ALMM & BIS Approvals for Utility Scale project

Gautam Solar, one of India’s leading solar module manufacturers, has unveiled its 630Wp R-Series TOPCon Solar Modules, engineered for higher efficiency, durability, and superior energy yield. The new modules are ALMM and BIS approved, ensuring compliance for government projects and large-scale tenders, while meeting the highest industry standards.

Built on N-Type TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) technology, the R Series modules deliver up to 23.32% module efficiency with a maximum power output of 630 Wp. Designed with 182mm x 210 mm wafers, rectangular cell, half-cut technology, and multi-bus bar (MBB) technology, these modules significantly reduce resistive losses and maximize system performance.

Key Technical Highlights of the 630 Wp R Series TOPCon Modules

  • High Power Output: 630 Wp per module for optimized BOS cost and IRR improvement.
  • Efficiency Leader: Module efficiency up to 23.32%, outperforming PERC modules.
  • Bifacial Design: Approx. 30% bifacial gain under optimal conditions,
  • Long-Term Reliability:
    • First-year degradation <1%.
    • Annual degradation ≤0.4%.
    • Low LID/LeTID due to N-type cells.
  • Temperature Coefficient: -0.29%/°C, ideal for hot Indian climates.
  • Durability Tested: 5400 Pa snow load / 2400 Pa wind load certified.
  • Certified & Approved: ALMM-listed (MNRE) & BIS-certified (IS 14286/IS 61730) for Indian projects.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Gautam Mohanka, Director, Gautam Solar Pvt. Ltd., said:
